Business to Rent in Mullion Cove Cornwall
A Beautiful Place to Live and Work

The business is seasonal trading from just before Easter to November.

Recommended opening hours vary depending on the time of the season.
At peak times July and August from 10 am 10 pm 7 days a week.
Its a happy holiday atmosphere in a beautiful location, but you have to be willing to work the hours.
A long break can be taken from November to Easter.
Mullion Cove receives thousands of visitors in the season
and is one of the main attractions on the Lizard

There is a clause in the deeds of The Potters Wheel
which disallows its use as a cafe / restaurant.

The shop is totally unopposed and has traded since the 1940's.
We became the owners in 1986
and ran the shop very successfully ourselves until 1995.
Since 1995 the shop has been leased and rented out.

We no longer have any accounts ourselves
and so do not have access to the trading details of tenants

Because of the lack of accounts we require someone with local knowledge of Mullion Cove
who is aware of the high throughput of tourists and the shops potential.

There will be no stock in the shop.
Other retail uses such as an art gallery are a possibility.

To maintain a high turnover a wide range of goods is recommended.
To specialize is to loose potential sales, have something for everyone, young and old alike.
At peak times July and August two people are required to serve.

Selling a wide range from Buckets and Spades to Clothing.
Books, Maps, Postcards, Film, Cameras, Gifts, Toys, Kites, CD's, Tapes, Batteries, Stamps, Maps,
Pictures, Prints, Posters, Beach Shoe, Beach Mats, Surf Boards, Wet Suits, T Shirts, Shorts,
Surf Wear, Skirts, Dresses, Hats, Cross Stitch, Bags, Purses, Backpacks, Jewellery,
Fishing Bait and Tackle, Confectionary as a gift line and anything else you can think of
except no food stuffs, as there is already a cafe in the Harbour.
